“Kim Myungsoo , what
kind of creature are you ?” I said , stuttered. I cursed myself when I realized
what I’m saying. Now he would know it. He flashed his black eyes towards me.
And , it twinkled like a diamond. He caught my hand in his grip. Trapping me between
the wall and him.
“Who do you think I
am?”
“I….” He gave me a
wicked smile. The distance between us becomes closer. It makes me couldn’t even
breathe properly. His eyes were looking at something. Oh no , he’s looking at
my veins. I could feel his thrist by just looking in his eyes. Oh god , what
should I do now?
“Myungsoo…” I muttered
his name under my breath hoping that he will stop his doing. But it was
hopeless. He decreased the distance between us by coming closer. His target is
absolutely my… Neck. I gulped my own saliva , trying to calm myself.
‘No. He’s not going to
do it. I trust him,’ I closed my eyes as he’s coming closer.
“Son Naeun , what do
you think about me? Who I am actually?” He said in his soothing voice which
melts me. I didn’t answer his question. He fastened his grip on me. I yelped in
pain as it hurts me a bit.
“Myungsoo , stop it.” I tried to
persuade him. Oh gosh , he needs to go back to his sense.
“Why should I? You
look.. Delicious after all,” He said in his wicked tone. Oh my , please don’t
do this. I know he wouldn’t do it.
“Myungsoo , I trust
you. You’re not a wicked creature,”
“What do you know about
me? What kind of creature I am then?” He shot me with the same question. I hold my breath and opened my eyes. Looking
at him in the eyes. Those black eyes looks beautiful , dazzling like stars on
the sky.
“I know who you are,” I
stated. Trying to help him to get back his senses. He gave me a sharp look.
“Say it then,”
I take a long breath
before saying those words. I need to say it even if I don’t want because he
seems like he’s not going to stop until he gets the answer from me.
“You’re…” I hesitated.
Worried if I will hurt him if I know
what he really is. He’ve tried his best to keep this from the others. But it
seems like I’m the one who ruined it.
“I am what? Please
finish your words. It’s impolite if you couldn’t finish your words,” He said
while giving me his famous smirk. I collected all my strength to say those
words.
“You’re a… Vampire. Indeed a vampire prince ,” I said it finally. He’s not moving a bit after
hearing my answer. My eyes are still attached to those beautiful and dazzling
black eyes of him. He kept his head down , avoiding me from staring those
beautiful eyes. Slowly , he let go of his grip.
“So…. You knew about
it,” He said in sigh. I could sense the dissappoinment in his words. I rubbed
my hand which is still hurts because of his grip.
“Myungsoo ,” I called
him. But no answer from him. He still kept his head down. Oh dear , he looked
so pathetic. No , I couldn’t let this be. He needs to get his strength back.
“Kim Myungsoo , look at
me,” I said. Slowly , he looked up at me. I stared those beautiful black eyes
again. But this time they lost their shines , I need to admit it that they look
sad.
“You will hate me ,
right?” He said suddenly. I shook my head. Of course , not! How come I’ll hate
a precious creature.
“Why should I?” I asked
him back. He threw his look towards my hand which looks swollen because of his
grip. He approached my hand with his right hand. I could feel the coldness of
his skin. Yeah , vampires is cold-blooded right?
“Look what I’ve done to
you. It must hurts right.” He said while rubbing my hand slowly and carefully.
“It’s nothing.”
“This is why I hate
myself. I’m born to be a killer. Creature like me shouldn’t exist in this
world,” I gave him a sharp look and shook my head.
“No , you’re not. Don’t
say like that. It’s not like you’re the one who wants it.” I tried to comfort
him. He gave me a weak smile. Oh god , I hate to see him like this. He looks so
in hurt.
“Myungsoo , I’m sorry.
I shouldn’t dig up your secret. I really couldn’t help but my curiousness
forced me to do it.”
“No , it’s not your
fault after all. You’re curious. I would do the same thing too if I were
you,” He stated.
“And , I’m sorry too. I
didn’t even have the intention to suck your precious blood.” He quietly said. I
looked at him. He looked tired. I knew that he need blood to survive. I wonder
how long that he’d been sucking deers’ blood.
“You don’t have to.
It’s not your fault after all.” I tried to calm him and gave a pat on his back.
He gave his smile at me. It looks so sincere and pure. I could feel that my
heart would burst in anytime.
“Son Naeun. You’re
weird.” I flashed my brows and gave him a puzzled look.
“Why would you said
that?”
“Why won’t you feel
afraid of me? I could kill you anytime if I want. And I would be a danger for
you so why don’t you feel afraid?” He stated seriously. I gulped my own saliva.
How should I answer this question?
“Kim Myungsoo.” I
called his name. He looked at me , waiting for my answer.
“When the first time I
knew you’re a vampire , I felt so afraid back then. But I have my trust on you.
You wouldn’t hurt me. That’s why I don’t feel afraid. Being with you makes me
feel so safe.” Myungsoo looked at her.
Admiring the beautiful figure in front of him.
“No. You’re wrong. I’m
dangerous and you know that.”
“I know you. I trust
you. And nothing can’t change that. It’s not your wish to be born as a
vampire.”
“But still.. I’m the
vampire prince. My enemies are everywhere. And… I don’t want them to hurt you…
So,” He paused.
“Stay away from me. For
your own sake. Please , I’m begging you.” He continued. I could feel a thug in
my heart when I heard him say that. Why is it? I’m not afraid of those freakin’
moron creatures that want to destroy him. He’s the one who should be protected.
“No , I can’t.”
“Son Naeun , stop being
stuborn will you!” He angered at me. But I kept being calm.
“How can I stay away
from you?” I said with a lower voice. I looked at him pleadingly.
